Apr 29, 2010 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier has added the Swedish government to its list of state customers for air traffic services.
In a fresh agreement, the Swedish government has contracted airBaltic to provide state officials with travels from Sweden to 99 destinations in Europe, Middle East, and the CIS including Amman, Beirut, Dubai, Brussels, Frankfurt, Belgrade, Moscow, and Tbilisi.
In Sweden, airBaltic offers flights between Stockholm, Gothenburg, Umeaa, Luleaa, and Visby to 80 destinations via its home base in Riga, Latvia.
airBaltic has earlier landed similar contracts with the governments of Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
