Apr 06, 2010 (newstodate): Armenia has received a promise from The Asian Development Bank to provide a 40 mio USD loan to realize plans for construction of a new passenger terminal at Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport.
The new terminal, slated for completion by 2012, will boost the airport's passenger annual handling capacity from the current two to 3.2 million passengers.
Zvartnots International Airport is operated under a 30-year concession with Armenia International Airports, CJSC, owned by Eduardo Eurnekian, an Argentine of Armenian origins.
