Mar 05, 2010 (newstodate): The planned amalgamation, ordered by Russia's PM, between Aeroflot and the Russian airline earlier earmarked for participation in Rosavia is reportedly not proceeding as planned.
According to plans, the aircraft of the airlines Rossiya, Kavminvodyavia, Orenburg Airlines, Vladivostok Avia, Saratov Airlines and Sakhalin Airlines have still not been transferred to Aeroflot, and the memorandum on the issue has not been signed by Rostekhnologii that is technically the owner of the airlines.
Sources claim that the problem is the demand by Rostekhnologii to be represented on a par with Aeroflot in the joint management - a claim Aeroflot has now agreed to.
