Mar 16, 2010 (newstodate): Pending final solutions to a range of issues, the new Swedish cargo carrier under formation, Air Navigare Cargo is scheduled to perform its first flight from Luleaa Kallax Airport to China before the end of April 2010.
-Talks with our partners have not yet been finalized, and before all issues have been settled we are very cautious not to give out too much information, says George Myren, who is driving the process together with Hans Jimgren.
The core market for the new carrier is Norway's export of fresh salmon and other seafood to the Chinese market.
This was also the case with the now defunct air service by Korean Air Cargo from Luleaa Kallax Airport to Incheon Airport in South Korea.
But this venture eventually collapsed due to lack of success in securing firm commitments from the Norwegian customer base.
