Mar 19, 2010 (newstodate): Moscow Domodedovo Airport is seeing brisk recovery from the difficult 2009 in its latest traffic figures.
In February 2010, the airport's cargo volumes increased by not less than 29.6 percent, y-o-y, to a total of 10,266 tonnes.
During January and February, the airport has thus seen cargo volumes up by 24.4 percent, y-o-y, to 18,608 tonnes.
Passenger volumes also rose steeply by 36.8 percent, y-o-y, to 1,287,484 passengers, making it the fastest-growing airport in the Moscow region.
