The Latvian carrier airBaltic has announced the launch of services from Vilnius Airport to London Gatwick from March 4, 2010, offering three weekly services on the route.
airBaltic currently offers nonstop flights from Vilnius to Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Munich, Paris, Riga and Rome, and, from summer, to Dublin, Hamburg and Oslo.
Vilnius is already connected to London by the Lithuanian charter carrier Star1 Airlines operating into London Stansted Airport since July, 2009, and the carrier will increase frequency on its route between Vilnius and London from March 29, 2010, to six weekly flights.
