Mar 01, 2010 (newstodate): Latvia's airBaltic is planning for replacing its fleet of Boeing 737 Classic aircraft.
The carrier's fleet currently includes eight Boeing 737-300 and 10 Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
airBaltic is now in talks with Boeing and Airbus and will look for either Boeing 737NG or Airbus A320 Family aircraft to be delivered from 2013.
While all aircraft in the carrier's fleet are today leased, in the future airBaltic will have a mix of leased and owned aircraft.
