Mar 01, 2010 (newstodate): After a period with Russian ownership, Malev is now again returning to Hungarian state ownership.
Malev is currently owned by Airbridge in which Russia's state-owned Vneshekonombank holds 49 percent, while the 51 percent are owned by a Hungarian national.
But Airbridge, formerly owned by the now bankrupt Russian carrier Krasair's owner, is in dire economical straits, and the Hungarian state has been negotiating with the Russian party to find a solution to the problems.
Krasair won the tender for Malev in 2007.
