Mar 31, 2010 (newstodate): Hungary's Budapest Airport is looking ahead to a busy summer season after the start of the new schedules.
The new schedules will offer flights to 96 destinations by 33 carriers offering nearly three percent more seats than last year.
Among the new flights offered from the Hungarian capital are flights by WizzAir three times a week to Forli in Italy and twice a week to Pisa, Italy and Turku, Finland, and Germanwings's flights to Hannover three times a week.
The Ukrainian airline Aerosvit is returning to Budapest with flights from Kiev, and Carpatair will fly from Budapest to Venice.
Also many operators including Malev, Tarom and Wizz Air are increasing their frequency on existing routes during the summer.
Besides, Budapest Airports management is meeting with representatives from four Gulf carriers to discuss flights to Budapest from Abu Dhabi Dubai and Doha.
