Mar 09, 2010 (newstodate): Effective from March 6, 2010, Air China Cargo has re-routed two of its three weekly Boeing 747-400 freighter services through Scandinavia.
On these two flights, the carrier has added a call at Paris, now operating the route Shanghai Beijing Copenhagen Paris CDG Shanghai.
The third flight continues without the call at Paris.
-The effect is, of course, that we now share capacity on the return leg with the French market while we still have the full capacity on the third flight, says Torben Pedersen, Kales Denmark branch manager in Copenhagen.
-Air China Cargo's service at Copenhagen Airport is supported by the markets of all three Scandinavian markets, and while we deplore the decrease in capacity from Copenhagen to China we are still reassured by Air China Cargo's firm commitment to the Scandinavian markets, says Mr Pedersen.
