Mar 23, 2010 (newstodate): On June 1, 2010, the Latvian airline airBaltic plans to launch flights on a new route between Oulu, in Finland, and Stockholm, Sweden.
The new route will be served five times weekly and is the carrier's fourth direct flight from Oulu, in Finland's northern region.
The Latvian carrier is building up a strong network of services in Sweden and Finland, with a focus on under-served regions that gain access to the carrier's growing offer of direct flights via its hub at Riga Airport, Latvia.
