Feb 02, 2010 (newstodate): Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport saw its total cargo volumes significantly down in 2009.
According to official LFV figures, the airport handled a total of 64,153 tonnes of cargo and mail in 2009, a decline by 35.2 percent, y-o-y.
The same statistics however indicate that the decline may be easing as the airport's cargo volumes were "only" down 2.8 percent, y-o-y, in December.
The full picture will probably only emerge when more precise data than those provided by LFV are finalized by the airport's cargo management.
