Feb 22, 2010 (newstodate): The Spanish carrier Spanair is joining the list of European carriers to re-enter the Serb aviation market.
Spanair will start operations between Barcelona and Belgrade from April 15, 2010, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
The carrier will also introduce flights between Madrid and Belgrade later in the year, pending Serb government approval.
Spanair's return to Serbia comes after a 20-year break while the Serb carrier JAT also operated from Belgrade to Barcelona and Madrid till 1991.
