Feb 02, 2010 (newstodate): The Irish LCC Ryanair lifted half of Slovak airport Bratislava's passengers in 2009, and the carrier is bent on continued expansion.
Ryanair first landed at Bratislava Airport in 2005 and has since continuously expanded its route offerings to comprise flights to 22 destinations, with flights from April 2, 2010, to London Luton, and from May 4, 2010, to Bari and Palma de Mallorca as the latest additions.
The company is also planning to locate three aircraft at Bratislava to serve the growing business.
