Feb 24, 2010 (newstodate): The projected new carrier, FEEL Air is seeing the immediate pressure from competitors easing around its plans to introduce low-cost flights from Stockholm Arlanda and Oslo Gardermoen to Bangkok and New York from 2010.
FEEL Air has become reluctant to provide details on the progress of its plans as the Norwegian low-cost operator was announcing plans for flights on the same routes also from 2010, while Iceland Express is also drumming up market interest for its plans targeting the same markets.
Norwegian has now, however, said that its plans will not be carried through in 2010, but put on hold till 2011.
This news may spur FEEL Air's efforts to add momentum to the process.
