In January 2010, the carrier transported 306,829 passengers, which was an unprecedented growth by 81.5 percent, y-o-y.
UTAir, based at Khanty Mansiysk, also increased its carriage of cargo and mail in January, lifting a total of 758 tonnes of cargo, up 60.6 percent, y-o-y, as well as 232 tonne of mails, 68 percent up on last year.
To these figures should be added volumes from the carrier's large helicopter operations that transported 28,685 passengers, up 46 percent, and 1,612 tonnes of cargo, an increase by 8.3 percent, y-o-y.
