Feb 23, 2010 (newstodate): The Romanian carrier Carpatair will open new Italian flights from the country's sixth-largest city, Craiova.
Effective from May 24, 2010, Carpatair will open flights from Craiova to Milan and Rome, respectively, operating Fokker 70 aircraft on the route served twice weekly.
Carpatair took delivery of the first of three ex-Malev Fokker 70 aircraft by the end of 2009, with the second and third aircraft arriving in February and March, 2010.
Carpatair is also the world's largest operator of the SAAB 2000, with 12 aircraft in the fleet also comprising three Fokker 100.
