Feb 10, 2010 (newstodate): The coming new US airline to offer Transatlantic flights to Europe, Baltia Air Lines has signed up with Navtech for implementation of an integrated suite of aeronautical products and services.
This marks yet another step in the carrier's very long march since 1989 towards launch of services with a Boeing 747 that was delivered to the carrier on November 24, 2009.
In February 2009, DOT approved the airline's application for launching services between New York and St Petersburg, Russia, and further down the line are plans for routes from New York to Moscow, Kiev, Minsk, and Riga.
No date for launch of services has yet been announced.
