Feb 08, 2010 (newstodate): Competition will increase further on the route between Helsinki, Finland, and Stockholm, Sweden.
Effective from March 1, 2010, the Finnish tour operator Wingo plans to introduce two daily flights between the two destinations, served with ATR-42 aircraft from the Polish carrier Jet Air.
Already on the route are Finnair and SAS that both operate at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, while Wingo will operate into Stockholm city center airport at Bromma.
The new operator will divert business traffic from Finnair's services connecting to Finnair's network, and SAS' services connecting to the SAS network.
