Feb 01, 2010 (newstodate): The Lithuanian carrier Star1 Airlines, established in 2009, is expanding again with launch of a new route to Scotland.
Effective from March 29, 2010, the carrier will launch flights from Vilnius to Edinburgh, in Scotland, offering two weekly rotations on the route.
This latest addition comes after the low-cost carrier earlier announced plans for further increased frequency on its route between Vilnius and London from March 29, 2010, to six weekly flights.
Star1 Airlines, headed by Martynas Laivys as CEO and based at Vilnius Airport, will operate two Boeing 737-700 aircraft from the start of this summer's schedule.
