Feb 18, 2010 (newstodate): The Latvian airline airBaltic has established airBaltic Training at Riga International Airport, Latvia, to provide commercial aviation training for flight crews.
The new training centre will provide flight crews for the fast expanding carrier itself, and sell training capacity to exernal airline customers as well.
The new airBaltic Training and simulator centre has been established by taking over facilities and equipment of Oxford Aviation Training that in turn build on SAS Flight Academy's facility, opened in 2005 in Latvia.
