Feb 17, 2010 (newstodate): The UK low-cost operator EasyJet has now confirmed its plans to start operations into Kosovo from summer 2010.
Effective from June, 2010, the carrier will offer two weekly flights between each of its two Swiss bases at Geneva and Basel and Pristina International Airport, in Kosovo.
The Geneva-flight will be launched on June 19, 2010, and the Basel flight will follow from June 26, 2010.
In 2009, Pristina International Airport handled 1.2 mio passengers, an increase by six percent, y-o-y, and launched a new airline incentive program to boost the opening of new routes.
