Feb 12, 2010 (newstodate): Pending final approvals, the Hong Kong-based carrier Cathay Pacific plans to launch traffic to Moscow.
The carrier currently offers the destination to its customers via a code-share agreement signed in March, 2004 with Aeroflot that is operating the route, but now wants to go it alone with Airbus A340-300 aircraft.
Cathay Pacific hopes to launch own flights on the route to Moscow from this summer.
