Feb 02, 2010 (newstodate): The Danish company Nordic Aviation Capital has sold three ATR 72-500 aircraft to Turkish operator Borajet.
The three aircraft were acquired by NAC from Alitalia and Alitalia Express in 2009, and the Turkish customer signed a LoI for the purchase in August, 2009.
The three aircraft were delivered to Borajet in December, 2009, and are now in commercial service.
Based at Billund,m Denmark, Nordic Aviation Capital is the worlds largest turboprop lessor, providing aircraft carriers including Lufthansa, American Airlines, US Airways, SAS, Flybe, TACA and Air France affiliates; other major regional carriers including Wideroe, Aer Arann and Cimber Sterling.
