Feb 08, 2010 (newstodate): As the first airline in Denmark, Cimber Sterling has obtained license to operate regular scheduled flights on a new route between Denmark and Antalya, in southern Turkey.
Flights will be operated from the airports of Copenhagen, Billund and Aalborg, with the route from Copenhagen to be operated all year round and the other routes to be operated initially on a seasonal basis.
If warranted by the market, also the latter two routes will be operated all year round, the company says.
So far traffic between Antalya and Denmark has been provided by charter carrier only.
