Feb 16, 2010 (newstodate): The Danish carrier Cimber Sterling has announced the opening of two new routes from the Denmark's Billund Airport.
Effective from March 31, 2010, the carrier will launch four weekly flights from Billund Airport to Dublin, Ireland, filling a void after Ryanair that earlier retreated from the route.
And from April 29, 2010, Cimber Sterling will also open flights from Billund Airport to Prague, offering three weekly rotations on the route.
With the latest additions, Billund Airport will have a record-high number of international routes, totaling flights to 41 destinations in Europe, including 10 on a seasonal basis.
