Feb 23, 2010 (newstodate): The Egyptian carrier Egypt Air, absent from the Danish market since 2004, is reportedly planning for a return to Copenhagen in 2010.
Egypt Air will re-instate services between Copenhagen and Cairo from the start of the winter schedule 2010/11, sources say.
On the table are plans for three weekly rotations with Boeing 737-800 aircraft from October 2010, and this will provide the Danish market with a link to Africa that has been uncovered for long.
Still unconfirmed by the carrier, and not announced by the airport, the news has been circulated by Egypt's tourist office in Sweden, sources say.
