Dec 08, 2010 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Orenburg Airlines is planning for upgrading its aircraft fleet.
Based at Orenburg Tsentralny Airport, the carrier currently operates a fleet of 81 aircraft including two Boeing 737-400 and four Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
In the plans is the replacement of these six Boeing 737 aircraft with five Boeing 737 NG aircraft as well as the introduction of three Boeing 777 aircraft, all nine to be acquired on an operational lease contract in 2011.
Orenburg Airlines operates a network of domestic and international routes as well as charter traffic.
