Dec 08, 2010 (newstodate): AirSamara is a new Russian carrier, currently in the process of finalizing preparations for launch of services in 2011.
Based at Samara, the carrier plans to start out with a fleet of nine Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft intended for flights on regional routes up to 2,000 km, and eight Airbus A320 Family aircraft for use on international flights and routes with high demand.
Further down the line, AirSamara plans to add a further five A320 in 2012 and three more in 2013.
From the start the route network will comprise 11 destinations, expanding to 63 routes in 2012.
Behind the new carrier as the regional government, Samara Kurumoch International Airport and Polet Airlines.
