Dec 16, 2010 (newstodate): The Latvian state has replaced the entire board of the country's Riga Airport.
Heading the new airport board is Arnis Luhse, Latvian State Labour Inspectorate director, replacing the outgoing board chairman Krisjanis Peters.
On the new board are also Aldis Murnieks, Andis Damlics and Verners Lusi, replacing Helena Rudusa, Janis Kuzulis, Toms Naburgs and Vents Balodis.
Probably the most pressing issue on the new board's desk will be mending the shattered business relations between Riga Airport and its largest operator, airBaltic.
