Dec 14, 2010 (newstodate): Korean Air is seeing good results and growth in the Russian market.
So far into 2010, the carrier has lifted 140,000 passengers on flights between Korea and Russia, up 19 percent, y-o-y.
Strong in air cargo, Korean Air has also carried 8,700 tonnes of cargo on its Russian flights, an increase by 36 percent, y-o-y.
From August 22, 2010, Korean Air became online with flights from Seoul to Irkutsk, already operating South Korea to Moscow, St Petersburg and Vladivostok, and active in the Russian market for 20 years.
