Dec 15, 2010 (newstodate): Finnair Technical Services has landed a new aircraft maintenance service contract with the Russian carrier Ural Airlines.
Building on the existing cooperation between the two parties, the new contract covers APU maintenance services and design services to Ural Airlines' A320 family fleet.
Based at Yekaterinburg, Ural Airlines started its operations in 1993 and is currently operating a fleet of 14 Airbus A320 family aircraft.
In the fleet are also four TU-154 aircraft that will be phased out as the carrier takes delivery of its first of ten Sukhoi Superjet 100 ordered.
