Dec 08, 2010 (newstodate): The strike by the Finnair crew unions continues after the rejection of the airline's latest offers.
Finnair says it is managing about 30 percent of the passenger traffic, while air cargo flights are still not affected.
Finnair Cargo is thus operating its normal freighter schedule from Helsinki to Seoul, Hong Kong and New York, and in addition special cargo flights using Finnair passenger Airbus A330 and A340 are operating flights to Tokyo, Beijing, and Delhi.
According to media, Finnish aircraft mechanics unions are now threatening to take at Helsinki Vaanta Airport against other oneworld airlines including British Airways in support of the striking Finnair crew union.
