Dec 21, 2010 (newstodate): An IL-76 freighter from the Belarus carrier TransAVIAexport Airlines has been commissioned for a relief flight bound for Venezuela.
The aircraft took off from Minsk Airport with destination Caracas Airport, carrying tents, blankets, canned food, soap, children's food, beds and other pertinent aid commodities donated by the Belarus state.
TransAVIAexport Airlines, based at Minsk International Airport with a hub at the Sharjah International Airport, was established in December 1992 and is registered as a UN Supplier.
The carrier operates two IL-76MD freighter aircraft.
