Nov 01, 2010 (newstodate): Construction of new passenger terminals at Ukrainean airport is continuing at fast pace ahead of the Euro 2012 championship.
On the last day of October, Kiev Boryspil International Airport's new Terminal F was opened and handled its first flights, adding the capacity to 900 passengers per hour, and up to 1,500 in peak hours.
At the same time work is progressing in construction of another new terminal F.
The project started in 2008, and the airport expects the construction works to be completed by September 2011, bringing the airport's total handling capacity to 6,000 passengers per hour.
