Nov 04, 2010 (newstodate): Two Nordic carriers, SAS and Icelandair are moving closer to cooperate in certain route segments and mileage programs.
Taking effect from November 8, 2010, SAS and Icelandair will enter a partnership agreement that includes code-share on a number of SAS routes, and reciprocal frequent flyer benefits.
The code-shareagreement will cover routes from SAS' hubs of Copenhagen and Stockholm to Berlin, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Milan, Munich, Vilnius, Zurich and Warsaw.
Early 2011, Icelandair will also become a partner of SAS' EuroBonus, while SAS becomes a partner of Icelandair's Saga Club.
