Nov 12, 2010 (newstodate): Thai International Airways will step up frequency and capacity on its route to Norway from next summer's schedule.
Operating five weekly rotations between Bangkok and Oslo with Airbus A340-500 aircraft during summer 2010, the carrier will instead introduce the Boeing 777-200 on the route, offering daily rotations from summer 2011.
For several years, Oslo was named as a potential destination by Thai, but remained without Thai services as the only Scandinavian capital airport until June 15, 2009, when the carrier finally launched operations with five weekly services on the route.
