Nov 01, 2010 (newstodate): SAS Norway has now phased out its last remaining Fokker 50 aircraft after 20 years of service.
The aircraft entered service in northern Norway from May 7, 1990, being later transferred to serving routes in western Norway ending with the last flight in the summer schedule 2010, having performed a total of 290,000 landings.
The last two of five remaining Fokker 50 aircraft are to be transferred today to Scotland, leaving the SAS aircraft fleet.
