Nov 01, 2010 (newstodate): Russia's state corporation Rostechnology has now finalized an order with Boeing for purchase of 50 Boeing 737 NG aircraft.
At the same time, the Russian corporation has secured options for a further 35 aircraft.
The firm order comprises delivery of 15 Next-Generation 737-700s, 25 737-800 and 10 737-900ER aircraft.
The aircraft were originally intended for the planned but aborted carrier RosAvia but will now instead enter service with airlines in the Aeroflot group.
