Nov 03, 2010 (newstodate): Denmark is now firmly leaping into space, powered by LEGO.
When the Space Shuttle Discovery blasts off from Cape Canaveral for its last scheduled flight tomorrow, November 4, it will carry a small LEGO space shuttle model to
mark the start of a partnership between the LEGO Groupand NASA - and offer the space crew an opportunity to play with the Danish LEGO bricks.
Over the next three years the LEGO Group and NASA will participate
in a joint outreach and educational program designed to inspire children to
explore science, technology, engineering and math.
