Nov 05, 2010 (newstodate): The largest airport in the Baltic region, Latvia's Riga Airport is continuing its strong growth trend through 2010.
After the first 10 months of the year, the airport has already reached the total full-year passenger volumes in 2010, totaling 4,017,276 passengers.
This was an increase by 16.7 percent over last year's 10-month result at 3,066,326 passengers, and almost on a par with the entire year 2009, with 4,066,793 passengers.
Riga Airport is currently served by 18 airlines with flights to 82 destinations.
