Nov 25, 2010 (newstodate): Effective from the next summer schedule, KLM plans to start flights to its third destination in Denmark.
Already serving Copenhagen and Billund, KLM will launch flights from Amsterdam to Aalborg, in Northern Denmark, from March 27, 2011.
Offering two daily rotations with Fokker 70 aircraft on the route, KLM will be the first airline to connect the two destinations.
-Introducing a scheduled service to this third destination in Denmark will strengthen our position in the Scandinavian market. And in addition this is the first time Aalborg connects with a hub outside Scandinavia, says Pieter Elbers, KLM Senior VP Network
