Among the news on the list, air carriers certified in Afghanistan are banned, one air carrier certified in Kyrgyzstan has been added to the list while nine Kazakh operators have been removed from the list.
With this update, the previous ban on the operations in the EU of Ariana Afghan Airlines has been extended to all air carriers certified in Afghanistan due to the safety deficiencies identified in its system to oversee civil aviation and on several carriers.
A new Kyrgyzstan carrier, CAAS, has been added to the list, joining all other carriers from this nation, while the lift of the ban on nine Kazakh carriers reflect the fact that these airline have had their AOCs revoked.
