Nov 25, 2010 (newstodate): Danish Air Transport, DAT, has decided to phase out its two SAAB 340 aircraft.
The SAAB 340 aircraft are currently operating flights between Esbjerg, Denmark, and Stavanger, in Norway, and from Oslo Gardermoen to Roraas and Fagerness, in Norway.
-Services on these routes will be taken over by larger ATR aircraft, which will be a better match to the growing markets for these services, says Torben Ravnkilde, DAT VP Sales.
The two aircraft will either be sold or leased out to another operator.
