Nov 23, 2010 (newstodate): Serbia's parliament will today vote on a loan to the national carrier JAT, allowing the airline to finally move on the issue of lease of new aircraft.
The government has long ago approved the loan by two Serb banks, but a parliamentary approval is still needed, and will be landed today ending more than half a year's waiting.
Once approved, JAT will open a tender for lease of two Airbus A320 family aircraft for delivery early in 2011.
