Oct 29, 2010 (newstodate): The new logistics and forwarding provider in the Nordic region, Australia's Toll Global Forwarding is already operational in the Danish market.
-We launched operations from September 1, 2010, and while most of our activities are still dominated by incoming traffic generated in the global Toll system, we have actually already closed some very prospective project contract, says Ole Moller Hansen, Toll Global Forwarding Nordics managing director.
-Our Nordic division is responsible for operations in the Nordic and Baltic markets as well as Poland and Russia. Through the acquisition of Gothenburg Shipping, Toll has been present in Sweden for some years, a new subsidiary will soon be opened in Norway, Finland is already on-line, and a Toll company for the Baltic region will soon be opened as well.
-Our business comprises sea and air cargo as well as project cargo, with some activities within road transportation as well. Toll Global Forwarding is present in all major markets around the world and provides us with strong network capabilities right from day one, says Mr Moller Hansen.
