Oct 12, 2010 (newstodate): Airfreight is still not showing any progress at Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport, as seen from official statistics.
A total of 6,123 tonnes of cargo was handled at Oslo in September 2010, a decline by 10 percent, y-o-y.
Included in the totals are 3,616 tonnes of international cargo, down 10.1 percent, and 2,508 tonnes of domestic cargo, down 9.9 percent.
For the period January-September 2010, totals stand at 53,048 tonnes, a decline by 89.7 percent, y-o-y.
The statistics however only include flown cargo that is only some 50 percent of the total air cargo volumes.
Even so, the negative trend would still indicate that Norway remains outside the generally positive trend in cargo in 2010.
