Oct 22, 2010 (newstodate): the Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics has landed a major French aircraft maintenance contract.
Under the contract, FL Technics will provide the French carrier Europe Airpost with maintenance works on its Boeing 737 aircraft.
Based at Tremblay-en-France, Europe Airport operates a fleet of 19 Boeing 737 aircraft, two of which are passenger aircraft while 14 are Boeing 737-300QC and three are Boeing 737 freighters.
The first of the Boeing 737 aircraft is now in the maintenance hangars of FL Technics at Vilnius Airport.
The French order is consider a major break-through in the West European market for the Lithuanian maintenance provider that is otherwise focusing on clients in Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS.
