Oct 07, 2010 (newstodate): With the start of the coming winter schedule, the Latvian carrier airBaltic will expand its services to Moscow.
In addition to the flights on the existing route from Riga Airport to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, airBaltic will add flights from Riga to Moscow Domodedovo Airport as well, bringing the total number of flight rotations between Riga and Moscow to up to six per day.
The new route will be operated three times per week, using Boeing 737 aircraft.
Besides Moscow, airBaltic also operate flights to St Petersburg and Kaliningrad, and the carrier saw its traffic from Russia up by 70 percent, y-o-y, during the first half of 2010.
