Iraqi Airways has announced the sale of six aircraft parked at the Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan for 19 years.
The lot comprises three Boeing 727-200 and two Boeing 707 aircraft and one more yet unspecified aircraft.
The aircraft were flown into Jordan when UN sanctions were imposed on Iraq following its invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
The question now is if they will ever fly out of Jordan again..
